Hancko Strydom is my 3 Month old baby boy.
He has been diagnosed with scaphocephaly, it means that he was born with his skull completely closed and there is no space for his brain to grow. We don't have a medical aid, we managed to take him to a private Pediatrician and brain scans and to see a Neurosurgeon. He confirmed scaphocephaly and Hancko needs a brain reformatting surgery asap. Our provincial state Hospital don't have the facilities for the above mentioned. That's why we took him to a private Hospital for scans. All our resources are exhausted that's why we ask and beg for assistance in form of donations. The Neurosurgeon referred him to Steve Biko Hospital, we phoned them and this may take a while and time is not on our side. We decided to phone ( Grote Skuur Hospital ) in Cape Town that can assist us. The medical assistance wil be free of charge. The donations wil be used for our expenses to get to Cape Town and for traveling to Hospital and back and for things Hancko wil need. Our accommodation is already sorted out. So I come before you to ask for help in this...
