Being strong for herself and those around her has always been something she has been proud of. Struggle and grief has followed from a young age but she's kept her head held high with a smile. Moving from SA to Namibia in 1994 with her mother after she divorced her father the future was looking brighter. Times were tough and hard and the struggle was real. Small mishaps like car accidents, being robbed at gun point, house breakins, weeks without water or electricity etc never made her give up. In 2010 she got diagnosed with PCOS and secondary infertility. With a heavy heart she accepted she would never have children of her own. Without medical aid the costs related to treatment was very high and near to impossible anyway as there was no guarantee it would even work. Instead she gave all her love and attention to her nieces and nephews. Year in and year out she received operations and treatment to remove cancerous cells from her cervix.
