Hannah's Place of Safety

Hannah's Place of Safety (HPOS) is a special place, started in 2016 as a non-profit organization by Dion and Janine Fabe. Dion and Janine volunteered at a local Orphanage called Christine Reveil, where they started helping hurting children. It was here that Janine met a young girl that was found under a motor bridge and then brought to Christine Reveil. As a registered host parent, Janine took her home for the weekend to show her some love – Janine, Dion and the family fell in love with her, and the rest was history. This girl is Hannah – now the beautiful daughter of Janine and Dion, and the inspiration behind Hannah’s place of safety. 

HPOS renders a free service to the Department of Social Development caring for children in need of care and protection.  Their aim is to press the restart button in the child’s life so that their childhood hope can be restored. HPOS cares for babies and children born into drug addiction, alcoholism, and those removed from their families due to abuse or other circumstances.
