My medical journey of hell began 16 years ago in 2007 when my colon was slit by my Gynae while having cysts removed & I had no idea of the nightmarish path I would be embarking on. I went into a coma & on life support with septicaemia, 2 collapsed lungs, 16 abdominal laparotomies later & Nutcracker Syndrome or SMAS, where my insides strangulated each other in 2018.
I’ve had countless horrendous procedures, X-rays & scans, thousands of needles poked into me to the point that I no longer have viable veins, tubes & pipes out of every orifice & am completely immune & drug resistant to the strongest pain killers like Morphine. I can count past 30 while being put under anaesthetic! The pain feels like I’m in labour 24/7. I have had numerous lengthy stays in hospitals & ICUs across the country &...
