Oral cancer is a SILENT KILLER - often detected TOO LATE. It is one of the most devastating cancers. Communities with limited knowledge and access to oral health services are most impacted.
TOBACCO USE, EXCESSIVE ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION, and HPV INFECTION are risk factors associated with oral cancer. But healthy habits and early detection can save lives.
Support our effort to raise awareness about oral cancer and its associated risk factors by donating today. To commemorate ORAL CANCER AWARENESS MONTH, the POHF is planning on bringing FREE oral health screenings and education to the rural community of Lichtenburg, North West Province.
