Gert Jonker is the founder of the Bethany House Trust. The organisation renders specialised child protection and welfare services to approx 140 000 vulnerable people annually. They i.e. operate three Child and Youth Care Centres (children’s homes) where they care for 150 orphaned or vulnerable children. Gert lost his hearing after contracting Covid in 2021. He is totally dependant on hearing aids to function in his role as CEO of the Bethany House Trust. Gert’s hearing aids were stolen recently. The replacement cost of two hearing aids AND the directional microphone and TV link is R150 000-00. Please help Mr. G to get the aids he needs to continue serving the needs of societies most vulnerable.
