Hearing Aids

For a few years I noticed my hearing was sensitive but I didn't think much of it, just thought it was wax build up.

A few months before I noticed incredible sensitivity to sounds, difficulty hearing when many conversations are happening around me and struggling to focus on what the person in front of me was saying, I went to have my ears flushed out. It did not solve the problem, instead it only made me more aware of it. 

Beginning last year, 2023, it became painful and I decided to go see a Audiologist at The Hearing Institute in Bellville. There I was told that I have mild hearing loss and that I have a few options to consider. First option was to do a trial run with a set of their hearing aids, but with mild hearing loss, chances of this option making a difference was slim in most cases.
