Help 15 women in Cape Town rise with confidence, practical skills and a plan for what comes next.
She Rises – Rewiring to Rise is the Dr. Phil-Afel Foundation’s 2027 empowerment journey for 15 adult women. We are raising R105,000 for the full programme: five monthly Saturday workshop days from February to June, a July graduation, a September Career Day and a November Entrepreneur Day. The programme also makes provision for five previous participants or alumni to assist with selected activities and peer support. Delivery depends on securing the necessary funding, venue and specialist support.
WHAT WILL THE WOMEN EXPLORE?
The five workshop days bring together 22 modules in a progressive journey:
• February — Acknowledging Womanhood: identity and self-worth, women’s rights and legal safeguarding, and recognising intergenerational patterns.
• March — Healing from Within: abuse awareness, trauma and triggers, mental health awareness, self-awareness and emotional resilience.
