Help a brave single mom and her son

This is one of those pleas that comes not from a place of weakness, but from deep compassion and urgency.

I'm writing on behalf of my dear friend — a strong, kind, hard-working single mother who is now facing one of the darkest chapters of her life. She is a foreign national living in South Africa with her beautiful 7-year-old boy. Despite every effort, she has fallen behind on her rent and school fees. There is no financial help from her ex-husband, and she has no family here to lean on.

She is currently three months behind on rent and six months behind on school fees. The emotional and financial strain is overwhelming — and while she tries to remain brave for her son, I see the sadness and fear in her eyes. She’s running out of time.
