Thank you for taking the time to read my story.
I am the proud mother of a 19-year-old with big dreams and a deep passion for rugby.
Jaden played for the Pumas in Grade 11 and Matric and even received an offer to play in New Zealand. After much consideration, he chose to remain loyal to the Pumas. He took the initiative to apply on his own and was fortunate to receive a partial bursary.
Covering his expenses throughout 2024 has been incredibly challenging. I'm now solely responsible for covering all expenses—roughly R19,000 per month—including academy fees, rent, groceries, transport, medical costs, electricity, and daily necessities.
Jaden understands the financial burden and has even offered to withdraw to ease the strain.
He is a selfless and compassionate young man—always willing to go without, never complaining, and constantly supporting and uplifting those around him. He is a son any parent would be proud of, bringing love and joy to everyone he meets.
As his mother, I cannot allow finances to be the reason...
