Joel Munemo, the Head Boy of Westville Boys’ High School (2025), is one of those rare individuals.
Born in rural Zimbabwe and raised in humble circumstances, Joel’s journey has been defined by resilience, humility, and excellence. Through a scholarship, he joined Westville Boys’ and rose to become the school’s first foreign-born Head of School, a leader admired for his character, service, and authenticity.
Joel has excelled across every field, a provincial debater, first-team footballer, honours blazer recipient in performing arts, and founder of the social impact initiative “Small Acts. Big Impact.” He has already raised over R30,000 for local charities and inspired countless younger learners.
