Help a Young Champion Rise: Raegan’s Journey🇿🇦♟️

We are incredibly proud to introduce our daughter, Raegan Morgan — South Africa’s newly crowned U10 Girls Chess Champion. 

At just 9 years old, Raegan hails from the West Rand in Johannesburg, South Africa, and has worked tirelessly to earn her place among the country’s top young players. 

Her most recent achievement was winning this year’s U10 Girls SA Close — South Africa’s premier invitation-only tournament. As a result, she has been selected to represent South Africa on the world stage at two prestigious events: 

• Africa Youth Chess Championship — Uganda, 14–23 May 2026
• World Youth Chess Championship — Georgia, 15–28 June 2026 

What began as a simple extracurricular curiosity quickly grew into a true passion and skill. Since then, Raegan has dedicated countless hours to learning, practising, and competing — reaping the rewards of discipline, resilience, and confidence far beyond her years.
