Dear Friends and Family,

It’s hard to believe that a year has passed since I was diagnosed with cancer. This journey has brought immense challenges, but also powerful moments of strength—carried by your love, your prayers, and your unwavering support.

Over the past year, I’ve undergone two cycles of chemotherapy at Rob Ferreira Hospital and made several trips to Steve Biko Hospital in Pretoria. Sadly, the first cycle was not effective, and though we had hope during the second, my health has taken a serious dip and my liver is now under severe pressure.

After being pushed between Rob Ferreira and Steve Biko, without answers or consistent treatment, often due to lack of treatment materials, I had no choice but to meet again with Dr. Sarita Retief. She’s the private doctor at Nelspruit Mediclinic who first diagnosed me and helped me gain access to state treatment at Rob Ferreira.
