Anne, a true pioneer of the tourist guiding industry in South Africa, needs our help. Fondly known as the 'Grand Old Dame' of guiding, Anne has dedicated her life to enriching others with her vast knowledge, multilingual abilities, and infectious sense of humour. She is a living, breathing "walking Encyclopaedia" with a memory as sharp as an elephant's and a wit that has entertained countless tourists and inspired many a student. 

However, recent hardships have left her and her husband in a dire straits.

Their Current Struggle

Anne and her husband have been without electricity for more than a month.  Anne’s husband, at 87, is paralysed on his right side due to three strokes, and Anne herself is battling severe bronchitis that recently landed her in ICU. 

The absence of electricity is not just inconvenient but also life-threatening in their current situation.
