Help Atenkosi Stay at UCT – Every Rand Counts!

Education is the key to success, but what happens when the opportunity to access that education is at risk… Hi my name is Atenkosi Melisa Mzilikazi. I am a first-year student, studying a Bachelor of Social Science. I am reaching out for support to keep my dream of continuing my degree at the University of Cape Town alive. 

Financial hardship has been a constant reality in my life, but it has now reached a point where my family can no longer carry this heavy burden on their own. Despite living with ongoing financial challenges, I have always managed to push myself and keep going. I worked tirelessly in my Matric year to make it into the top ten. 

Due to the debt on my student account, I am currently unable to receive my end-of-year transcript, which is required for academic progression. Without it, I cannot register for my second year. This means that, despite my dedication and hard work, my studies are at risk of being interrupted simply because of financial barriers.

This opportunity means everything to me. Education is not just a personal achievement...
