Help Us Compete in the First Tech Challenge and Inspire the Future of Robotics in South Africa!
We are a passionate team of young, homeschooled students (aged 12-16) with a dream: to compete in the First Tech Challenge, a global robotics competition often referred to as the "Olympics of the Robotics World." This competition empowers students in grades 7-12 to design, build, and program robots to tackle increasingly complex challenges alongside teams from around the world.
A huge part of this journey is about giving back to the community and inspiring the next generation of engineers, especially in South Africa, where access to robotics education is limited. However, the cost of robotics hardware is a major obstacle for many young learners. That's where Texspan, last year's First Tech Challenge winners (and fellow South Africans!), have stepped in.
