Hello my tjommie... On Tuesday night, I suffered a serious accident — I slipped, fell, and dislocated my right knee,

The pain has been unbearable, but what’s been even harder is facing this injury with no safety net.

I’m currently being treated in a state hospital, because I was "livin on a prayer" without medical aid. It’s a deeply vulnerable and scary situation.

Long story short: I dislocated my knee (yes, it was as dramatic as it sounds), and the recovery road looks long, pin-covered, and paved with a few operations and ouchies. While my spirit is as spicy as ever, my body is on sabbatical – and unfortunately, that means I can’t perform on stage, entertain crowds, or shake my booty like I used to (and trust me, it’s a national loss).

Performing is my livelihood, my passion, and my therapy – but right now, my job is to rest, heal, and learn to accept (ek sweer ek probeer). I don’t have an 8-to-5 job, just a heart full of hustle and an ice pack with my name on it.
