Hi! I’m Brandon Strydom, an 18-year-old performer from Cape Town, South Africa, and I’ve just taken a massive step toward making my dream come true! I’ve been awarded a partial scholarship to study a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre (4-year course) at the prestigious New York Film Academy (NYFA) in 2026!

Performing has been my passion for as long as I can remember. Since the age of 6, I’ve devoted myself to singing, acting, and storytelling, constantly learning, performing, and growing.

In 2025, I proudly represented Team South Africa at Talent America in New York City, an elite international competition featuring performers from around the world!

Competing in the 18–24 age category, I achieved:

• Dramatic Monologue
• Vocal Broadway
• Vocal Singer’s Choice

Division Winner for Acting & Vocals (18–24 years)

Pinnacle Award for the highest combined score in my age group
