Help Us Build a Safe Haven for Horses and Children in Rural South Africa

In the small rural town of Mokopane, South Africa, something truly special is happening — a place where broken horses and vulnerable children heal together.

This equestrian centre rescues unwanted, neglected, and injured horses, nurses them back to health, and carefully retrains them to become gentle lesson and therapy horses. But the impact doesn’t stop there. These horses go on to change the lives of local children — many of whom have very few opportunities and even fewer safe spaces.

At the centre, children learn far more than how to ride.

They learn responsibility, patience, empathy, and discipline.

They learn how to care for and train horses, gaining practical skill that can open doors to future employment — especially for those who do not have access to proper education.
