In his retirement years, Cas continues to find fulfilment in supporting his wife and those around him. With his big and generous heart, he is always ready to help others — whether by listening, offering guidance, or providing emotional support. Cas gives freely and selflessly, never expecting anything in return. He is a beacon of hope and trust, the kindest of souls, and a living example of what it truly means to love one’s fellow human beings.
Always an active man, Cas faced a devastating blow when he was diagnosed with fibromyalgia approximately 20 years ago. Refusing to let the disease define or control his life, he committed himself to training even harder and maintaining a healthy, active lifestyle. Through disciplined exercise and medication, he managed to suppress the constant pain and continue enjoying many of the activities he loved.
