BackaBuddy Update: Healing is the Priority (New Discharge Next Week!)
Dear supporters,
We are sharing an important update: Chris’s discharge has been postponed for one more week to ensure his complex wound is healing completely. While this is frustrating for Chris, we are incredibly grateful to the doctors and the Port Shepstone Hospital staff—this decision shows they are prioritizing his long-term safety and health.
This extra time will ensure his wound is fully stabilized before we transition to home care.
