Help Colleen See Again

At 71 years old, Colleen has spent her life caring for others. Despite facing significant challenges of her own, she continues to dedicate her time and energy to supporting elderly and dementia residents through her volunteer work with Dawn's Angels. Day after day, she visits care homes, offering companionship, kindness, and comfort to some of the most vulnerable members of our community.

Recently, Colleen's life took a devastating turn when her handbag was stolen. While dealing with the stress and inconvenience of replacing important documents, she discovered an even greater challenge. During the process of renewing her driver's licence, an eye examination revealed the extent of her vision loss. Colleen is completely blind in her right eye and has only 15% vision remaining in her left eye. As a result, she was unable to obtain the approval needed to renew her licence.
