help Dehan hear again

Dehan is a very active little boy who absolutely loves music. 🎶

In June 2023, he contracted swine flu, which unfortunately led to meningitis.

He was hospitalized and, as a result of the side effects of the meningitis, lost most of his hearing. Since then, he has been dependent on hearing aids in both ears.

At his most recent visit to the audiologist, we were informed that his hearing has deteriorated even further. He urgently needs to receive a cochlear implant. If we do not proceed with the implant, his hearing will continue to worsen to the point where he may never be able to hear again.

We kindly ask for any assistance. There is a co-payment of R40,000 that needs to be paid upfront.

Please help our little boy so that he never has to forget the sound of our voices — or what music sounds like.
