Help Delesha get to the IBO in Lithuania!

Hi! My name is Delesha Rickilall and I am a grade 12 learner at Westville Girls High School in Kwa-Zulu Natal.

The reason for my campaign:

In 2025, I participated in the Life Sciences Olympiad and I made it through to the second round. In February of this year, I participated in the second round and I placed 1st overall in the country. I now have the opportunity to represent South Africa at the International Biology Olympiad (IBO) in Vilnius, Lithuania!

To be able to attend the Olympaid, I will need to pay R65 000. This amount will go towards international flights, visas, registration fees, accommodation, excursions, meals and online tuition. This amount needs to be paid by the 13th of March, however, we have asked the organisation for an extension of time.

There are over 80 countries participating in the Olympiad! We will be doing numerous tests and experiments to be able to showcase everyone's talent - and I am hoping to finish strong in all of these events.
