Help Send Lukhanyo to the 2026 Draughts World Qualifiers in Scotland
My name is Lukhanyo Dyanibokwe, a draughts (English Checkers) champion from Philippi, Cape Town. Since 2003, this unconventional sport has taken me from local school boards to the international stage.
My track record:
- 2022: South African GAYP (Go As You Please) Champion, King William's Town, Eastern Cape
- 2023: 11th place at my World Qualifier debut in Turkey; won the Dr. Richard Beckwith Online World Cup
- 2024: 3rd place at the 3-Move World Qualifier in Korbach, Germany; 2nd in World Blitz; defended my Online World Cup title
- 2025: Part of the SA team that beat the USA 73–71 at the Vidor Checkers Festival, Texas
