My Story
My name is Fallon Matthews, a Food Science graduate from Stellenbosch University and I am fundraising in order to prepare for an exciting and life-changing opportunity abroad. I have been accepted into an MSc in Food & Beverage Innovation and Management at Marche Polytechnic University in Italy, and I am honoured to have been awarded a partial scholarship to support my academic studies.
Why This Matters
This programme aligns perfectly with my goal of helping strengthen South Africa’s food system by bridging the gap between innovation and quality in the food industry. I am committed to returning home with advanced knowledge & skills that can support safer, more sustainable, and more innovative food products in our country.
Although my tuition is covered through the scholarship, I am still unable to take up my place because I do not yet have the required funds for the essential costs associated with relocating and securing a study visa (€7000 minimum).
