Help for Brave Daylin

Desperate Help Needed for Brave 7 year old Daylin: Medical Care & Urgent Transport Fund

Hi everyone,

We are starting this Back a Buddy campaign for a very special, brave young boy named Daylin who urgently needs our community's support. Daylin is battling kidney failure and lives with a urostomy.

Right now, his family is facing an impossible situation. The government medical system only provides him with 5 urostomy bags per month. As anyone familiar with this level of medical care knows, 5 bags are nowhere near enough for an active young boy. The family constantly has to find ways to cover the cost of extra medical supplies out of pocket to keep Daylin comfortable, clean, and safe from infection.

To make matters worse, the family's car recently broke down permanently, leaving them completely stranded. Daylin requires frequent medical attention and must travel regularly from our hometown to the Red Cross Children's Hospital in Cape Town for specialized treatment.
