Hope for Triston and his Father
Triston from Alberton, who is a Rugby player and in Matric, had his life dramatically altered last year, September 2023. He underwent emergency surgery for a tear in his diaphragm and a perforated ulcer. Since he didn't have medical aid, he went to Thelle Mogoerane Regional Hospital.
Complications arose in October, and Triston was referred to Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital, where he has remained hospitalized due to a blood clot between his spleen and liver.
In these 8 months, his physical, mental, and emotional state continues to deteriorate. Despite numerous tests the cause remains mysterious, therefore no treatment has been started.
It's been hard on his father, who's raising Triston alone. The funds will be used to cover medical and other costs to alleviate some of the financial pressure during this trying time.
