Help Get Elijah a Wheelchair for Christmas

Hi, my name is Colleen Cottle, and I’m reaching out with a special Christmas wish for my grandson, Elijah.

Elijah is 6 years old and one of the brightest, most determined little boys you could ever meet. Despite being paralyzed, he approaches life with such joy, courage, and energy that it inspires everyone around him. Even though he is dependant on a wheelchair, he doesn’t let his wheelchair define him.  Unfortunately, his wheelchair has been holding him back.

Elijah has outgrown his current wheelchair, and it’s no longer suitable for his active lifestyle or his needs at school. His current chair is heavy, difficult to maneuver, and tips easily when he goes over bumps or moves too quickly, which happens often, because Elijah loves speed and independence!

We’ve found a lightweight wheelchair designed specifically for like Elijah and tailored to his measurements. One that offers better support, a lower center of gravity, and stability for his adventures.
