Help get Zak & Xavi to World Champs in Italy

What started as two local Kenridge Primary School mates tearing up dirt jumps during COVID lockdown at the "Gummies" (Gumtrails) has turned into an extraordinary international journey.
Xavier "Xavi" Gomes and Zak Jones have officially been selected to wear the green and gold for Team South Africa! Both turning 18 this year, Xavi (currently in Grade 12 at Fairmont High School) and Zak will cap off their junior careers competing in the Junior Men’s Downhill (DHI) at the UCI Mountain Bike World Championships in Val di Sole, Italy (26–30 August 2026).
From Xavi watching Zak win SA titles as a youngster and saying "I want to do that!" to both boys mastering their skills together, this selection is the ultimate reward for years of early mornings, grit, and passion.
