Help Girl Children To Publish Their Stories

 In the townships and informal settlements of South Africa, children like Linamandla and Chuma face tough daily challenges. They live in small shacks with no running water or electricity. 

They have to carry heavy buckets of water and do their homework by candlelight. These children know what it's like to go to bed hungry and to live in fear of violence. But despite these challenges, they have a special gift - their imagination. 

We discovered that Linamandla and Chuma love writing stories. They wrote about monsters and heroes, and their stories became a way for them to escape the harsh realities of their lives. We published their book, and it brought hope and joy to children in their community. Now, we want to take their stories to the next level by publishing more child authors from similar circumstances as our learners.
