Hi Friends and Family, Graham is 80 years old and living with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP) - a rare degenerative brain disease that is slowly taking away his independence.

For many years Graham was a familiar and respected face in the Umhlanga and La Lucia community. He served as General Manager of La lucia Mall for over 22 years, and later as Operations Manager at The Gardens Estate in La Lucia for nearly a decade.

Today, life looks very different.

After several years of uncertainty and multiple medical consultations, Graham was finally diagnosed with PSP Just two weeks ago.

PSP affects balance, movement, swallowing and cognition.

In recent months Graham's condition has progressed rapidly. He now experiences frequent backward falls, difficulty walking, choking when eating or drinking and periods of confusion.

These symptoms make it dangerous for him to be alone.

He now requires supervision, assistance with daily activities, and someone present to help keep him safe in his own home...
