Kathryn has been dancing since she was 5 and is working incredibly hard towards achieving her goal of becoming a professional ballet dancer one day. She trains with Jeremy Hodges, an ex-professional dancer, at Claremont Ballet School, Robin van Wyk, Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) examiner and ex-professional dancer at Mowbray Ballet School and Cape Junior Ballet School, under Kim Day, Nicolette Loxton, Robin van Wyk, and Professor Elizabeth Triegaardt.
Kathryn is currently working towards her Advanced 1 RAD exam after achieving a distinction in Advanced Foundation last year. She is in grade 11 at Wynberg Girls High School, taking Dance Studies (Contemporary) as one of her matric subjects.
She has just been accepted into the Ballet Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance's week-long summer school in London in July. This is an amazing opportunity for her to gain experience in ballet and contemporary dance at one of the top vocational dance training schools in the UK.
