Help us kit Rogue - a conservation detection dog - out with a crash-tested Thule crate!
Rogue is a 3 year old German Shorthaired Pointer who is the first dog in the world to be working in the field on this particular species. This species (which we wish not to publicise specifically due to poaching threats) is under huge pressure from not only habitat loss, due to development and agricultural land use, but also from poaching. As a result this species is considered Vulnerable of the IUCN Red list.
Rogue's efforts protect the species by allowing us accurately map the species' distribution. This work requires a lot of travel, and while we always have her secured within a crate during any and all travel, our crates are not crash-tested. The only kind available is SA is the Thule Allax (R21 000.00).
We'd like to ensure that she is kept as safe as possible, and as soon as possible. We are saving towards purchasing this item ourselves, but it will take some time and as such, we are reaching out to this wonderful c...
