Help Kitana Represent South Africa at the AsiaRope International Olympiad in Thailand (UPDATED JUNE 2026)
Ten-year-old Kitana Inderpal from Johannesburg has earned an extraordinary opportunity: she has been selected as part of the South African delegation to compete at the AsiaRope International Olympiad in Bangkok, Thailand, in September 2026.
After placing 3rd nationally in the South African English Olympiad and 2nd in the AsiaRope English Olympiad, Kitana will now have the honour of representing South Africa alongside some of the brightest young learners from around the world. The Olympiad will bring together participants from 10 to 20 countries, providing a unique platform for academic excellence, cultural exchange, and personal growth.
Kitana is a dedicated and well-rounded learner who embraces every opportunity to learn and contribute. Her English work has been featured in her school's quarterly newsletter, she was recognised as one of ten winners in the Yokico competition, and she regularly volunteers at a local veterinary practice.
