Hello! My name is Lin-Mari Kruger, and I’m the proud mom of Leahne, an incredible, resilient little girl who has been on a brave journey since her very first days. Leahne was born on November 6, 2017, with a cleft lip and palate—a condition that has shaped much of her early years and called for tremendous strength and courage.

At just five and seven months old, Leahne underwent her first two surgeries under the skilled hands of Professor K.W. Butow, setting her on the path to recovery. Now, as she’s turned seven, we’re entering a new phase in her journey. Leahne is starting critical orthodontic treatment with Dr. Rolanda Prinsloo in Pretoria to prepare her jaw and palate for another surgery expected in the next two to three years. This step is essential for her health, confidence, and the life she dreams of living.
