After losing my service dog Blue to bone cancer at just 6 years old, I've had to start fundraising sooner than expected for my next service dog. I never imagined I'd need another one. Blue was irreplaceable, and before he passed, I felt truly independent with him by my side. His presence transformed my life, showing me how much I rely on that partnership for my daily freedom.
Thanks to anonymous donations, I was able to get my beautiful Labrador retriever, Lego, and start his basic training. I’m now asking for help again so he can complete the next 18 months of training and hopefully graduate as a service dog.
Because of unforeseen circumstances, I’m no longer able to pay for his training myself. I’m truly hoping the kindness that helped me before can carry us through this part of the journey too. ❤️
