Letty is a 60 year old pensioner living with diabetic conditions. She has been blind for 3 years now because the hospital keeps returning her back home. Her life has been on pause ever since she got blind. After consultation with optomerists there is hope that she can see again. Letty needs to have a cataract operation in both eyes and it costs r25000 per eye or R40000 for both if doing on the same day. Letty is taking care of her grand children and can hardly cope since she is now blind. Your assistance will help change her life style and that of the grand children.
