My name is Abigail Sandwell, and I am a Classical BALLET DANCER!
I started dancing when I was 3 years old, dancing is more than a passion, it is a way of life for me. Through injuries and setbacks, I have persevered and achieved many accolades over the years: Excellence at every Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) exam, multiple gold awards at the East Rand Dance Festival, a spot with the Youth Russian Ballet company, a part in the 2023 Sleeping Beauty production, and the lead role as the Jewel Fairy in 2025.
I have also represented South Africa internationally. In 2021 I competed in the online Dance World Cup Finals and this year, I have been selected to represent South Africa at the 2025 Dance World Cup Finals in SPAIN!!!
THIS IS A DREAM COME TRUE FOR ME!!
The cost of this trip, travel, accommodation, and registration comes to R150 000 and my family do not have the means to cover these costs.
