Help Me Fight Kidney Failure and Save My Sight

My name is Benita, and I am reaching out with a humble heart to ask for your support during one of the most difficult seasons of my life.

In January 2026, I was diagnosed with kidney failure after years of living with Type 2 diabetes. The disease has caused severe damage to both my kidneys and my eyesight. I now undergo dialysis three times a week, starting at 5:00 a.m. each session, before going to work afterwards. It is physically exhausting, but by God's grace, He continues to give me the strength to keep going.

In addition to dialysis, I urgently need a vitrectomy procedure, followed by laser therapy on my eyes, to help preserve my vision. Unfortunately, these treatments come with significant costs.

Our family has already endured unimaginable hardship. On 31 May 2025, my daughter, who is a Type 1 diabetic, was involved in a tragic motor vehicle accident that claimed the life of her 17-year-old cousin. She sustained severe injuries, including fractures to both of her humerus bones, and she is still on her long road to recovery.
