My name is Jared Swartz. I am 17 years old and passionate about playing field hockey. My dream is to pursue a professional career in this sport. I have been playing this sport since I was 6 years old. Over the Easter weekend my school team participated in the Belgotex Easter tournament. At the end of the tournament I was selected to be part of the invitational team that will be touring to the Netherlands [from 20 - 30 September 2024]. This is such a huge opportunity for me as it will help me to get closer to my dream as I will be able to learn from the best players and coaches the Netherlands has to offer. The tour costs R55 000.00 and includes flight tickets, travel insurance, accommodation, kit, meals, transport, matches and excursions. [The tour is coordinated by Xenon Sports (Pty) Ltd.]
Help of any kind would be appreciated. Thank you.
