Help me start a new job

Hi, I’m Tebogo. After a long time without work, by god's grace I’ve finally been offered a job in Johannesburg, starting on 2 November 2026. I’m ready to get back to work. The only thing standing in my way are the resources.

I’m in Limpopo, and I don’t have the resources to move. I need a safe place to stay, transport to and from work, and food to keep me going until my first salary comes in. Being out of work for so long has left me drained financial and emotionally.

I recently lost another job opportunity for exactly the same reason, and I can’t let it happen again. Jobs are scarce, and this offer is the chance I’ve been working towards.

Where your money goes

• R1,500: rent for a backroom
• R2,000: food until my first pay day
• R2,000: transport to and from work
• R500: the move to Johannesburg

I know everyone has their own struggles, and that everyone works hard for their money. I’m not asking for a handout, I’m asking for a bridge. With a little help getting through the first month, I can stand on my own...
