My name is Lee-Hanro Arendse, and I was born in Ceres, South Africa. I am a dedicated 1500m athlete with a passion for representing my country and pushing my limits on and off the track.

I have been coached by Zola Budd, whose guidance has helped shape my development and discipline as an athlete.

In 2025, I had the honor of representing South Africa at the African Youth Championships in Lagos, Nigeria, where I earned a silver medal in the high jump and delivered a strong performance in the 1500m. That experience proved to me that with hard work and determination, anything is possible.

Today, I have been given a life-changing opportunity — a sports scholarship to study and compete in the United States. This is a dream I have worked toward for years, combining both my academic and athletic goals.
