I graduated from the Durban University of Technology (DUT) in 2019, having completed my diploma with dedication, sacrifice, and a deep belief in the power of education to change my life and that of my family. But despite completing my studies, I still owe R79,000 in outstanding fees — and until I settle that amount, I cannot receive my certificate.

This outstanding debt has been holding me back in ways I never imagined. In 2024, I completed an internship and was shortlisted for a permanent position. I had the skills. I had the experience.
