Help My Mother Rebuild After a terrible House Fire

My name is Tshepo, and today I am reaching out with one of the hardest requests I have ever had to make.

In a matter of minutes, a devastating house fire destroyed my mother’s home, the place where our family made countless memories over many years.

The fire left nothing untouched.

Our roof was destroyed, ceilings collapsed, rooms were gutted by flames, and almost every possession inside the house was either burned or severely damaged by smoke and water.

My mother lost virtually everything she had worked for throughout her life.

The fire has also left four of us homeless:

• My mother
• My two young nieces
• Myself

We escaped with our lives, and for that we are grateful. But now we face the overwhelming challenge of starting over with almost nothing.

Today we urgently need help rebuilding not just a house, but our home.
