We are heartbroken to share the devastating news that our beloved manager and the true matriarch of our Hermanus Just Cruizin shop, Nicolette, lost her home in a tragic fire yesterday in the small town of Hawston, just outside Hermanus. This unimaginable loss has shaken us all to our core, and we’re reaching out to you—our compassionate community—for support.

Nicolette, a vibrant 57-year-old single mother, has been the bright, energetic, and loving face of Just Cruizin for the past 15 years, alongside her fabulous daughter Shunique. She’s not just a manager; she’s the heart and soul of our shop, always greeting customers with a warm smile and going above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome. Beyond her work, Nicolette selflessly supports and helps her greater community—whether it’s lending a hand to neighbors in need, organizing local events, or simply being there with a kind word during tough times. She’s the kind of person who gives endlessly without expecting anything in return.
