Dear friends, family, swimmers, and supporters
My name is Noah Nice, and I am a High School junior who is passionate about all things swimming, whether in open water or in the pool. I have been swimming since the age of 6, and it has always been my dream to represent my country in swimming. This dream came a little closer when the World Junior Open Water Championships were set for 2026.
My goal was to make the South African team for the World Junior Open Water Championships in Argentina later this year, in September. The road started in 2025 (actually long before that), when I had to step up, and step into a lot more training and open water racing, but with a big dream. I 1st had to qualify to race for my region Northern Tigers Swimming (NTS) at my 1st open water provincial trials as the youngest junior in January. Making the NTS open water team, I got to compete in the Eastern Cape, Marina Martinique, at the South African Open Water Championships in March.
