Our nanny, Nono, in Hout Bay tragically lost her home in a fire this past weekend. Thankfully she is safe, but she and her family lost all of their belongings in the fire. Nono is a mother and grandmother who has worked hard for many years to support her family, and this loss has been devastating.
We are raising funds to help her replace basic necessities such as clothing, bedding, and household items, and to assist with rebuilding her home. Roofing sheets alone cost around R550 per sheet, so every contribution will help her rebuild piece by piece.
