Help us get 15 incredible young athletes to the Lifesaving World Championships!
Let’s be honest…
Most of us have never had to wake up at 4:30am to train.
Most of us have never voluntarily done endless laps in a pool when we could quite happily still be in bed.
And most of us have certainly never trained for years for the chance to represent our Club and our country on the world stage!
But 15 young athletes from Johannesburg’s Mandeville Dolphins Lifesaving Club have done exactly that.
And now, their dream is REAL.
From 5–14 December, these incredible young men and women, aged 16–25, will proudly represent South Africa at the Lifesaving World Championships Interclub Competition in Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth), competing against the very best lifesaving athletes from 42 countries around the world.
How amazing is that?
But there’s a small problem…
Getting to the World Championships is rather more expensive than getting an Uber to the swimming pool! 😂
