What

On June 9, 2023, I embark on my 10th Comrades Marathon (an alternating route between Durban and Pietermaritzburg each year between 85km-90km), a personal milestone and an opportunity to turn my dedication into a force for good. This year, I am dedicating my run to our friend, silently battling for a normal life with her husband and dreams of a family. 

The Story

Our dear friend, married just recently, received a life-altering diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis (MS) in January after enduring years of misdiagnoses. Opting to keep this private, they shared this burden only with close family and friends, aiming to live each day to the fullest without seeking sympathy. Despite the shock, they hold onto hope for a normal future.
